  The nose offered honeyed aromas of peach, nectarine, and pineapple, with additional notes of sea mist and butterscotch. Medium bodied with lively and almost searing acidity that slowly gives way to a gentle sweetness. Everything has held up beautifully though it’s just slightly tired on the finish. Flavors include green mango, apricot, orange zest and starfruit. Drink up.

  Flat out awesome. Such a sense of freshness and purity to the fruit here, with an array of flavours ranging from tart citrus and green apples to riper, more flamboyant peachy and faintly tropical notes. It's at the point where the fruit's still quite vibrant and fresh, but it's also showing a lot of more savoury development, with honey, lemon candy, smoky, and other savoury/burnished notes augmenting the fruit. It comes across just lightly sweet (less so than many young Kabinetts) with the powerful '96 acidity cutting through the sweetness, and it's a spectacular match with fried chicken. Thanks Stefan.
