  Under cork. Pnp. Black current jelly colour with a black heart. Wild plums, black pepper, suede, green tobacco, dried herbs, and ink on the nose. I just love that feral fruity nose you get with Carmenere! Medium-full bodied, high acidity, soft chalky tannins, some astringency. In need of a bit more fruit extract to balance it out - especially on the back palate, which feels a bit thin. Flavours of slightly unripe plum, black currant, hedgerow new oak and a bit of bell pepper. OK, but I was expecting more after the lovely Florista Chardonnay that preceded this. Only 88 points IMO.

  Fresh, perfumed, and intensely aromatic with pretty aromas of floral, red berry, currant, and spice aromas. The medium-full bodied palate is creamy with lovely aroma replays joined by some herbaceous notes and touches of wood. It has very good, juicy acidity, as well as smooth, silky tannins, while herbally and currant notes linger on the finish, with excellent length.
