Nose of earthy feet, lemon flowers, some sulfur. Palate: Thick mouthfeel, dirt and oak, lemon zest. I didn't get any of the apricot from when I had this back in October as this bottle had a much heavier and oakier weight to it then I remember.

Condrieus and Côte-Rôties of North London (Must & Lees): Brought as an aperitif/quality control, and happily exceeded expectations - a very nice wine in its own right. Recognisably Viognier, with its slightly heady tropical-fruited nose, and thick, fruity, floral quality on the palate. The warm finish also seemed fairly textbook, but with air the wine's nuances became apparent: some grassiness on the nose and a pleasant kick of lime zest on the finish. Tasty stuff.

Condrieu and Cote Rotie; 9/28/2023-10/28/2023 (Must and Lees, N1): Quite pale. Nice and peachy, stony fruit and honeysuckle – a very classical representation of the grape. Forward and lively, the florality is really intense without being cloying. This is the kind of wine that I prefer on the colder side as an aperitif.

Apricot all over the nose and palate, crisp and fruity; very good

TWS North London; Cote Rotie and Condrieu at Must & Lees (Must & Lees, N1): Fruit forward, lovely and oily in a viognier-y way. Peachy and white fruit. Apparently this is £20. Fine and ok value, but it’s not going to set the world alight
