This was the last bottle and I thought that i'd be opening it and pouring it away, but it was astonishing. Colour was a deep gold with a touch of green. The nose was full and as I remember good old white Burgundy used to taste in the days when it was made to keep. In the mouth, full, almost creamy. Plenty of acid left and enough fruit to meke it interesting and very pleasant. Very very long indeed. BRAVO!!

Unoaked. Much more evolved than the 2002 tasted immediately prior (which had had a bit of oak). Huge interesting depths. Lots of body. Very ripe flavours.
