Concentrated and solid in structure. Balanced alcohol, and prominent oak, that has taken some from the wine, but still not out of bounds. I applaud the acidity in this super ripe fruit. This is an outstanding vineyard. All secondary flavors. Still has another 5-7 year life in it. Full body on the palate, had "yumm" factor in its flavor profile. Long length and pleasant finish. I wish I had bottles from 10 and 12 as well; alas!

Inky dark wine with a small amount of sediment. Rich fruity nose. Blackberries and black cherry notes on a complex background. Good body, clean finish. Overall, a very nice wine.

What a lovely wine! Notes of blackberry, red currant, menthol, pine needles, herbs, sage and a touch of leather. Lots of savory fruit / touch of meat. Very typical, aged Barossa Syrah. Aged with distinction. Drink now but has some time, too. We paid $24 / bottle. Very good qpr at that price.
We had this with rare, seared buffalo steaks and it was a harmonious pairing.
Drink now or age.

Fruit bomb, with good acidity and structure and ripe fruit. 15% plus alcohol but you wouldn't feel a thing! Black fruit and spice with huge integrated oak. Medium to long length and pleasant finish.

What a lovely wine! Notes of blackberry, red currant, menthol, pine needles, gobs of chocolate and a touch of leather. Lots of savory fruit / touch of meat. Very typical, aged Barossa Syrah. Aged with distinction. Drink now but has some time, too. We paid $24 / bottle. Very good qpr at that price. I was going to serve this with BBQ ribs but I think the sauce is too sweet for it. It needs something more savory: grilled lamb or roast pork shoulder, etc. or just drink on its own and enjoy.
