  • Rather dark red with purple touch. Really soft and round in the nose, with some sweetness. On the palate it reminds me of Primitivo at first. With some air and higher temperature, or develops more complexity. Still very fruity - sweet cherry and plum - now combined with good acidity and tannins. Long tannic aftertaste.
Interesting: The fatty bacon taste I usually associate with Sarah only appears at the very end - when the last gulp in the glass is already too warm.
03/10/24: Next day. Lots of acidity, tannins and pepper! Could almost be a CS. Today, the softer touch only develops at the end. Combines well with vegetarian lasagna. Has enough power to complete with its strong tomato flavor. Still no fatty bacon on the palate.
