  • Sacre bleu! This drinks way above a simple village wine. It's like a mini-Corton Charlemagne, one that's in perfect harmony tonight. Beautiful nose of crushed minerals, stone fruit with a light toasty quality. Blind and before tasting I might have said Corton or even thought it was a really good Chablis. In the mouth there's generous green apple and pear '02 fruit, with a balanced and slightly unctuous texture neatly tied off with a crisp acidic and mineral laced finish. Neal Rosenthal, I salute you!
