  • Long awaited rendezvous with indigenous Pignolo grape & what can be better than tasting it at Bressan property with Fulvio, Jelena and 92 year old Nereo Bressan. Double fermentation for 80 days, aged in large oak barrels for 13 years. Intense complex aroma of potpourri, cherries, vermouth rosso, tobacco, herbs, smoke, balsamic, fresh roses. Medium body, drank over 3 hours, didnt stop changing, multilayered flavours from peaches, herbal bitters, vermouth, dried cherries and so on, medium+ acidity, medium tannins.
