Still love this. Over time, the brighter cherry flavors have mellowed out some. But still a surprisingly jammy Merlot, with a nice rigid, just slightly tannic backbone to support it.

I really like that this inst a typical California Merlot. Lots of bright cherry flavors. Oak well integrated. Would never have guessed a Merlot. Very unusual.

(Esterlina Merlot) Bright and moderately saturated ruby red with pink tones. The wine is smooth and round, with aromas of plum, blackcurrant, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove and back notes of rhubarb.
