PnV. Big black color wih purple rim saturated with evident sediment. Very boozy port like nose with a touch of herbs and va. Very ripe and pruny with a touch of licorice. Very sweet long finish. Basically a semi-dry zinfandel port. Very tough to score as it is so over the top for a dry wine, but you have to respect it for what it is an unapolgetic fruit bomb. Try it with dark chocolate - it works.

I love Rosenblum wines, and they do a smashing job with Zinfandel. But the 2004 St. Peter's Church Zin seemed to be falling apart a bit. Drink now? Pleasing, deep berry aromas, but the wine was clunky on the palate, partially unbalanced with lots of earthy, smokiness.
