Held back when first opened, simple light berry pinot. But steadily over an hour opened up. Never because really earthy, but big round cherries and a hint of forest floor and waned over time. A touch too acidic, but continued to get longer and longer over the night. Nice, not great.

Was gifted this bottle and looked forward to the opportunity to try it. Upon opening has a nice nose of berries, fruit and Oregon goodness. The first taste was a little tart not especially tannic but was tight. I am sure it could have used a few hours in the decanter. With lots of swirling and big PN glasses the wine did open up over time. Nice old world style PN, soft and mellow. I will seek out the vineyard and pick up a case.

My coworkers were all fairly excited about this. I tried it later that night after it was opened in the morning. First of all, it was much better then the previous bottle I tried from '04. Muted nose, with maybe a little straw/rasberries. Slightly tart. Decent enough bottle, but I wasn't excited about it. 86
Retried next night, and maybe I was a little harsh. It is a solid bottle. Something I reccommend, I don't know, but pretty well made. Bump it up a point. 87

A decent wine for what it is, an inexpensive second label. (paid $14 fwiw).
Restrained at first, then yielding tart cherry and forest floor. This would not be at all out of place in a group of Bourgogne Rouge.

Tasted at wine tasting. Aroma of plums, barnyard and paper mill. On the palate is raspberries and plums. Nice finish with low tannins.
