Another great buy from Costco, more than one could reasonably expect in the way of authentic chianti at that price (below $9). Got some tartness, some grip, red fruits.

86- at around 10$ decent pour for such a bargain. Pretty plain, not much on the nose or palate, light fruit and clean finish. Had with a grilled burger and paired well. Very nice for price, nothing special or to cellar, but will keep a few around for bbq season. Good value.

What can you expect for 9 bucks? It's a simple wine with very grippy tannins. There's nothing on the nose. This is a simple fresh Italian table wine. On a weekday with pasta or pizza why not its drinkable. It's an every day enjoyable Chianti. Reminds me of the straw basket wines we drank in the 70”s.

More of a generic Italian red.

It's like someone bought the worst fruit they could find in Chianti Classico and slapped a "Kirkland" label on it. Gives bulk wine a bad name.
