Clos de l’Obac is a wine of extraordinary power, structure, and complexity. These characteristics result from the diversity of orientations and altitudes of seven (out of a total of eight) vineyards planted around the town of Gratallops with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, and Carignan. While the old Carignan and Grenache vines, over 50 years old, impart an unmistakable Priorat character, the other grape varieties enable a unique personality based on the balance between strength and finesse.
