Initial funk on the nose but blew off after a little while. Wine seemed to improve as it remained open. Sour cherries, hint of earthiness. Solid weeknight Italian red. Perfect for pizza, pasta, etc.

Drank with spaghetti. Purple in color, high acidity, red fruits but pretty unremarkable for a $12 bottle. More an $8 value.
