Nose of ripe berries and new oak. Good structure. Good tannic grip. Not too fruity, more in the style of an old-school Bordeaux. Dry, and very quaffable. If you ever spent $40 on a Dominus Napanook, there's no reason not to spend $10+ on this bottling. Excellent QPR. 85-86

Surprisingly tanic, not as smooth as expected. OK, not great.

A delicious, old world-style Cab Franc. Medium bodied, red berries, jalapeno pepper and spice. Nice finish.

Too mild. Good, but nothing special.
