On the nose, I sensed the mixed berry described on the label along with vanilla from the French oak barrels. Also had a lot of earthiness (damp ground). Very well balanced and a good food wine with present tannins and a little acid. Would love to try more from this producer.

My first Cab Franc. No notes, and obviously no anchor for varietal comparison; but found it quite compelling and enjoyable. Well-balanced, and more overtly complex (a little veggie [pepper, tomato?], bit of spice, wisp of funk) than a Cab Sauvignon of similar youth and quality. Looking forward to more of this varietal and more from this producer.
