Excellent comments from Renegade below. Carmenere character really shows, and a great example of Chilean style. Drinking well now, but I'd welcome bottle age.

This is a wine that changes frequently in the glass. The easy part is identifying the dark purple color, heavy body and 14.5% alcohol. This was decanted for over 1 hour, after that hour in a Bordeaux glass, this wine gave off aromas of roasted coffee beans, creme de cocoa, baking spices, cassis, blue and dark fruits and tasted of coffee, cassis, blue and dark fruits. What throws a curveball at me is literally within in 5 minutes of these notes, the aromas went to a more cedary, cassis and pepper profile. Then as I am keying in these notes right now, the aromas seem to combine, some cancelling out the others. It is a unique wine to say the least, I would say at this point there is a battle going on between the aromas as well as the flavors. The wine is drinking very good right now, but I can see this one continuing to improve 2 years from now, maybe longer. A very interesting wine to say the least.

cab, carm, and cab franc, calling itself a bordeaux blend. had with pork belly. nice black pepper on the bacend a little tannin and acidity, very nicely rounded out by cab franc and carm element. really liking the controlled acidity, tannin, and pepper on the back end here. drink up now, this is nice nuanced wine. 90
