  Very juicy, bright bistro wine. Light tannins. Some "rustic" bottle stank. I like it a lot.

More bright, sappy, juicy red fruit than I expected (I thought '06 was not a top vintage), with a bright, fresh, acidic tone that made it very food friendly.   BBQ on beach in Westport w friends. This is a lovely wine that works well with grilled chicken. Medium red color. Plenty of black fruit - blueberry and earthy, mineral flavors. Light body with good tannic structure and acidity, this has the stuffing to live for many years. 12% alcohol according to the label. Delicious.
