Edit: 24 hrs later. Today this is drinking superb with lots of cerise, almond and okay undergrowth. Incredible suprise. At around 2 hrs this opened up and revealed alot of depth, fruit, and complexity which just wasn't present hours earlier. Alot learned here on a 2 yr old Haut Médoc from a fairytale castle in Bordeaux. 8.9/3.9
Edit: 3 hrs later. This keeps changing. I'll repost tomorrow a full review.
Edit : 2 hrs later. This just needed time to open up, and is now actually pretty amazing. Lots of balance, dark fruits and time.
Original: 2007 Bordeaux drinking now in late 2020. 13 years hidden in the cellar was probably a bit too much aging. It's past prime, and tough to tell what it started with. All that's left is a bit of oak cherry and leather

Intense garnet colour with wonderful legs. Sedimentation - decant if you wish.
Stewed and preserved dark fruits on the nose. First impression was that the aromas were well integrated. Oak gave leather and earth. But liked the fact that fruit was predominant.
Alcohol medium with medium plus tannins. Medium acidity and body was medium plus. Can probably cellar for a few more years. Finish medium plus with the fruits lasting till the end. Tastes like how it smells. Straightforward - don't expect something complex. But everything in the glass was well integrated
Went nicely with a coq au vin. After dinner, wine opened up nicely to express its minerality.
