  Mature, bright, medium garnet; light and faded nose, the slightly sweet smell of overripe Cabernet, nice complexity (grapes, cedar, wax, leather, smoke, hint of fruit), acidic note; lively, light, slender but not thin, not completely dry, hint of tannin, edgy and slightly metallic 1969-acidity, lacks depth; decent length. A remarkable survivor from an appalling vintage.
