Brownish red color, translucent. Muddy red fruits on the nose. Red-fruited on the palate, soft, bit raisoned. Fine tannins, sharp acidity, adequate balance. Finishes short and undistinguished. Well past prime.

Red fruit on the nose. The palate is very (too much) soft at this point, cherries and a bit of anise. Soft tannins, good acidity, decent balance. Long finish of red fruits and pepper. Probably 2 to 3 years past prime, but still decent. Drink up.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of black cherries, raspberry cheesecake topping, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, lots of gamey-smoky notes. Clean and fresh on the palate with dusty tannins and crisp acidity (hint of VA, but it’s not overwhelming by any means). Cherries and gushing red plums, fruit still going, but there’s a lot of peppercorns, charcoal smoke, grilled meats. A bit over the hill, but it’s still lots of fun.

Dull garnet with a bit of sediment. Robust berry medley on the nose with a bit of grapefruit zest. Sweet chokecherries that devolve into grape cough syrup on the front palate. Sweet bed orange ring notes as well through the the finish. Not my style, albeit well-made.
