  Excellent fill, capsule, and cork. Allowed to breathe in glass 20 minutes before tasting. Hazy blood-ruby hue. Bouquet of musk, barnyard, beef blood, stewed plums. Tart, medium-bodied, with short finish and almost no primary fruit remaining. Better after 24 hours under vacuum stopper.

  while it should be past its prime and the cork was completely dried out, the wine was surprisingly good. Strong berry notes and long finish. great pinot nose. We decanted it due to the bad cork and drank it over a couple of hours without any deterioration in flavor. A nice surprise.
