Reductive nose initially that blew off over 30 minutes to reveal lime, grapefruit, and green apple aromas with just a hint of burnt rubber remaining. Lots of citrus on the palate with crisp acidity. Didn't get as much spritz as I have previously with other Txakolinas, perhaps due to the age? Paired well with fish tacos.

Pale yellow color and tangy citrus aroma. Sharp citrus flavor, acidity and minerals are the predominant taste notes. There is a lot of zip in this wine. It is very refreshing much like a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc without the SB grassiness.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of paraffin, lychee and a bit of mixed tropical fruits. Flavors of pear, mango and peach. Medium acidity and body. Drink now.

Spain vs. Portugal (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had orange, stone, and a little lemon zest. The palate had good acidity with lots of citrus fruit, and a mineral finish.

Balanced and rather forward, good acidity with lime and grapefruit. I liked the 08 a little more.
