Lagrange and Poujeaux @ my place (Netherlands): Medium and bright yellow. Modernistic nose of banana-esters, orange- and lime zest and plentiful use of oak. In the mouth it's broad, sultry and ripe, showing smokey, buttery, minty chardonnay-like yellow fruit. Fills the mouth, but its finish is a bit short. Nice glass of wine, and I get the feeling that this wine was made in the cellar rather than in the vineyard (which is a conclusion, not a judgment). Satisfying, but not very provocative or complex.

Hardly any bouquet. In the mouth however there is good fresh acidity with a little citrus and tropical fruits. Not a bad wine, but no real complexity.
