This has typical slightly waxy, brassy, grapefruit and honeydew notes of Southern Rhone whites, but it also carries with it a certain lightness, minerality and acid lift in the palate that sets it apart from the crowd.

WES - Southern Rhône (Imperial College London): Soft straw colour. C+B. Ripe fruit, sweet peach, a hint of minerality and a sprinkling of white pepper. Dry, vibrant. More stone fruit with full ripe peaches and good acidity.

Nose: Floral spice, fruity cinnamon minerality, hint of papaya, faint caramel . Overall, somewhat subdued. Most scents took some digging and analyzing and became significantly more discernible after the wine had been open an hour or two.
Palate: Tangy honey yogurt with a spritz of lime. Melon undertones, limestone and mineral bitterness. Very citrus zest tasting, definitely lime like. Overall: Some viscosity, decent body. Ok finish, if not overlong. Good acidity. Definitely more on the mineral and bitter side, than zesty and fruity. I like the wine, though didn't love it. It took some patience to dig up aromas/flavors. I sensed potential, but it didn't quite work for me. However, there was certainly complexity and it was a solid effort.

Wine Education Service - Southern Rhône (Imperial College): Refreshing fruity nose, very inviting, ripe fruit.
Excellent balance, fruity with a hint of apricot in the mid palate along with some minerality, good length.
