Love this...minerals, subtle integrated pear & peach. Lemon accented Vanilla....deep nose I could smell forever...gets better with air. Wish I had more.

93 pts facile

Wine Club: Rhone under $50 (Bill's House): Popped and poured. Wowzers, this is good. It drinks a lot like a good California Chardonnay, with big but integrated oak, a buttery mouthfeel, great concentration, full body, and balanced but not over-the-top acidity. No Rhone bitterness at all, and on the negative side, there's not much nuttiness or hints of oil. Fantastic wine, and in its ideal drinking window.

(Tardieu-Laurent Hermitage Blanc) From a partnership of Michel Tardieu and Burgundy’s Dominique Laurent. Honey-gold color. Complex nose of honey, pear, peach, apricot, petrol, and a hint of lavender. Even richer on the syrupy palate, with warm alcohol indicating a hot vintage. Butterscotch, nectarine, and bitter almond come through on the finish, balanced by acidity. Terroir: Hermitage

Concentrated and deep; lemon and apricot and peach with vanilla backup and with finesse and length.
