Excellent wine and certainly one the best American Pinot Gris/ Grigio that I have tasted. Stone-fruit (lychee, pear) with oily/ glycerin taste that is usually only found in Alsatian wines.

Very fruit forward. Pineapple hits the front of the palate, then fades to peach flavors with a tart grapefruity finish. I would love to have this again, chilled on a summer afternoon.

Italian Varietals from WA/OR/CA and Italy...Blind; 1/23/2010-1/24/2010 (Eastside Wine Storage): nose: some funkiness, also some flower stems palate: way sweeter on the palate than the nose would lead me to believe. Almost too sweet, like sugar was added. Compared to the Bethel Heights pinot blanc, this was much less balanced and a lot more fake. Blind tasting sure does change a palate.

This supercharged Pinot Gris is big and thick and brimming with tropical fruit. There is acidity to balance the abundance of ripe fruit and the high alcohol doesn't immediately burn. Amazingly, there also seems to be some residual sugar.

My mom needed a second glass. She is not the biggest wine drinker but this stuff is that good. It will make a believer out of all.
