4/6, good cork. Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Spicy, lightly gamey, red cherry fruit, touch of menthol and liquorice. Medium bodied, slightly muddy with gamey red cherry fruit, autumnal notes, fresh acidity, a touch tannic on the medium/good length finish.

Last of a 6 pack and in the zone. The color has lightened but is not washed out. The nose bursts with ripe red fruits and earthy elements. Fullish palate that is sweet and substantial with a finish that ties things together nicely. Really quite fantastic. (91)

3/6, vg cork. Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Attractive developed nose, red fruit, soil, liquorice, spice (nutmeg?). Medium bodied, red fruited, liquorice, attractive vibrant acidity, finishes a touch firm but a decent village NSG.

(Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges Vieilles Vignes) Dark garnet color; nice tart cherry, tart raspberry, roses, mineral nose; tight, tart cherry, cranberry, mineral palate with medium acidity; needs 4-plus years; medium-plus finish
(Chevillon Robert Nuits St.Georges) Medium colour. A melange of red fruits on the nose that slowly brings more emphasis to red berry notes. Mouth-filling and showing faint astringency and good acidity. Has the flavour character of a 'warm vintage' wine. But is nicely polished.

IN a nice place, cranberry and cherry with herbs and earth. Snappy, lively, with tannins mostly resolved. B+
