  Very small production ( 20 Barrels, 492 Cases) Bacigalupi Vineyards, Healdsburg (Russian River Valley appellation) 100% Zinfandel. 100% new French oak cooperage.
  Very clean black cherry and cola flavors with soft hints of spices and black pepper. Some strange but delicious Kraft caramel/expresso ice cream/bitter taste combination made it even more interesting. At 15.1% surprisingly the heat is not overwhelming. Wonderful balance of acidity and tannins. Nice finish. Definitively a different wine to try. Very recommended.
