Although this may be past it's prime, based on the drinking window shown here, but it is still quite good. Typical German Riesling notes, including a bit of petrol. The sweetness and acidity are very well balanced. I found this on a clearance table at a local wine store for $5. This is probably the best $5 wine I've had. :)

Simple and also past its window. But still enough acidity to be enjoyable. Slight green apple nose still remaining. Good acidity with obvious high tartaric component to it, which is what I think still makes it so enjoyable.

Good quality, but not my style. Fruit-forward nose, a bit spicy. A bit too much RS for my liking without the balancing acidity that would have made it work for my palate. Mouth-coating and medium bodied. Probably would have paired well with something hot or spicy.

Aroma of honey, slate and a hint of petrol. Lime and minerals on the palate with a dose of apricot on the finish and a bit of spritz throughout. Nice acid, well balanced, pleasantly sweet. A good value in the mid teens.
