Ruby color with very earthy, mineral notes on the nose with some hints of red fruits underlying. The fruit seems to have faded a touch on the palate with earthiness dominating. The tannin and acid are starting to take over a bit so I think this is starting to move toward decline a bit. Still enjoyable now, but I'd probably drink these within the next year.

A bit of strawberry and cherry (and maybe even a hint of banana), some casis, and lots of spice box and pepper and a bit of cedar on the front of the palate. Pepper picks up a little mid-palate then slowly fades away. Vegetal notes throughout, and especially some green onion on the end. Lots of tannic astringency. Still a very young wine for sure. Needs some age to mellow it out.

Chanoch hosts the wine-buddies (Yulia, TLV port): pleasant aroma of red underbrush fruit, medium-bodied, fruity, tannic, typical village wine
