  The color of this wine had me raising one eyebrow, such a pale red for a Grand Cru. Wow! What's that about judging a book by it's cover? This wine was a knockout! An absolute perfect balance between fruit, acid and tannnin had this wine tasting very sweet and yet... not sweet at all. Oh so smooth... If someone had served me this blind I would have guessed an 85 Lynch Bages, NO KIDDING! That old cigar box & pencil shaving cliche was ever so prominent, but this is a BURGUNDY?! Strawberries, raspberries a little spice and a finish that lasted over a minute. A slice of heaven. Tasted 1/16/2005
