I've had some bottle variation with this one, however when it's good, it's really good. Mineral and acid driven, lemon-lime peel, grass, and the like of a textbook Sancerre. Fruit is definitely fading, but I don't mind that.

Long overdue boy's nite (Reno, NV): Consistent with note below though I had it with average not "a little low" on the complexity this go around... a well made, classic Sancerre that is drinking just like one would expect at this point... drink them up.

Non-fruity aroma, to me like slightly burnt toastiness or lentils. Flavor leads with lentils and then becomes tangy fruit with searing citrus-like acidity, but not so citrus like flavor with a touch of salty brininess that comes out with food. The acidity may be too searing and almost overpowers food, but it worked for me.
