Finally, a decent bottle. Not poxed and showing a little more complexity and interest than previously. Full, but reasonably minerally though in the fat style of Meursault. Rich-textured across the atatck and mid-palate giving way to a slightly more focused and mineral finish. Again, not hugely complex but does what it says on the label for Charmes. ***

Opened to replace an off bottle of the same. Similar mid to full straw colour, cleaner nose here. More mineral and without the chemical element. Reasonable weight, but ultimately not much compelxity or interest here. Perfectly drinkable, but. **1/2

Curious, slightly chemically nose. Not right. Presumed oxidised though it did clear up a little over the course of two days but still not as clean as the repalcement bottle opened. ** at best

Straw yellow. Light buttery nose; a touch reserved maybe. Bright and lemony fresh with raw stone fruits and a touch of spice. Very tight and reserved in style compared to the Chateau de la Velle Meursault tasted alongside it.

Cellaraid - Chardonnay Corfefe Luncheon and red wine based Dinner (Tonny's Restaurant): clear, deep gold; clean, pronounced nose, with aromas of stewed fruit, apricot, melon, honey, chives; dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, with flavours of lemon, apricot, chives, grass, medium finish; good wine; drink now
