sfwine: Wines of the Jura (San Francisco): Very ripe apricot nose. Richer and fruitier in the mouth than the other wines in this flight by a mile, with layers of flavor and plenty of characterisitic sous-voile nuttiness. Very concentrated and full-bodied, with ripping citrusy acidity. Flavorwise this is reminiscent of a particularly oxidative Vin Santo, except that it's bone dry (or nearly so) and there is the aforementioned high acidity. Really special. Expensive, but much more approachable than a Vin Jaune of similar age/youth.

Très beau nez, presque de jaune !!
Belle longueur, abricot, fruits secs, puissance. Tout y est. Encore un beau potentiel de vieillissement selon moi.
