BYO with friends (Wee Family Coffeeshop): Deep garnet. Intense cooked cassis aromas. Still a bit of bite from the tannins, while having flavours of very ripe black cherry and chocolate and tar, as if a fine Blackforest cake, then cinnamon and nutmeg. Finish seemed slightly lacking though, but in general an enjoyable wine

Decanted and tasted over 2h Perfect cork no sign if seepage Initially smells stewed but it must be served at around 18c and left alone for about 60min. It opens up and becomes this delicious savoury moreish wine. V good showing.

Poor cork quality, just crumbled into a mess. Drinking very well straight after 30 minutes of opening. Mature and savoury. Wish more australian shiraz tasted this satisfying when aged.
Great QPR Drink or hold to 2024

No formal note.
Single piece cork. No seepage.
This is still drinking well and is mature. Slight tartness, balanced acidity. Fruit is suggested rather than implied. Savoury finish. Medium length.
Drink up within coming 3 to 4 years unless cellar temp is below average.
