Was rather disappointed with this. Not a lushious as the 2007. It's rather thin and acidic [warning: I'm not !00% sure of the vintage (it may have been 2005 that I tried. To be safe, choose the 2007 - that's wonderful!] 88 points?

Appearance: Bright and clear, medium lemon in color, with watery rims and legs Nose: Clean, medium (+) intensity and developing aromas of petrol, lemon, acacia, honey, apricot, peach, gunflint and cream. Palate: Medium-dry, with medium acidity, this wine is of medium alcohol and medium (+) bodied, with medium (+) intensity flavors of lemon, honey, tropical fruit, apricot, peach and mineral, finishing with a medium (+) length. Conclusion: Very good quality Alsace Grand Cru Riesling with a highly complex and intense nose, showing the typical petrol characters for the variety as well as fresh fruit, floral and mineral notes. Slightly sweet on the palate, it is well balanced by the acidity, showing good intensity and fair complexity, accompanied by a fairly long length. Ready to drink now but can benefit from further ageing of another 5-7 years.

Close to it's top. Some acidity, but not over the top, nice fruit and great minerality.
