A wine comprised of the noblest grapes of Spain (Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo)) and Portugal (Touriga Nacional). Beautiful perfume, rooibos tea, pomegranate, raspberry tea, lingonberry, hibiscus, red berry potpourri, and herbs. It drinks like it smels, refined, restrained, delicious. Medium plus acid, well structured, balanced and long. Saude! 91-22,

Interesting. Decanting for over 7 hours. Big wine. Big fruit of Black Currant. Big acid with some tannic structure as Motz wrote. Has evolved though. Earlier had many New World characters. Huge fruit, some heat on the end. Has mellowed a little... but is still big. Reminds me of a Wash St Red Mountain Cab. This is an 05 and I feel it does have more time left. I had been at 91 but as the evening rolls along I'm close to a 92

Floral and inky bouquet. Lively palate, more acidic than tannic, but there is some nice grainy grip. Very nice mid palate and a medium finish. This wine is still kicking but nearing peak. 90-91.

Very interesting wine. Little or no distribution in US although Wildman is the importer. Very well structured wine, with ageing potential. A little roughness on the palate, but finishes with real power. THis wine will age well

Good wine but not as good as I remembered from 1 year ago when I tasted my other bottle - did not take good notes - better with food and nice wine - but for $25.00 there is better value (especially from Portugal).
