A private lunch (Restaurant Breda, Amsterdam, NL): Interesting style, quite rich and nutty for a wine from the Côte des Blancs - vinous and slightly earthy, but then again, it is from Vertus, so this makes sense. Juicy and rounded, lively mousse, apple and citrus, well-integrated dosage (7 gr/l), good length.

Very nice QPR - biscuit, honey, and cling peach. Nose very yeasty. More full bodied and somewhat reduced style (not as much as his vintage bottles). Buy again.

A private lunch (Restaurant Maris Piper, Amsterdam, NL): Lovely wine, discreet but harmonious style, slightly fresher than the bottle tasted last year.

Pascal Doquet - same wine, different dosage: 7g/l. Softer, rounder, broader feel to this one. Dense, ripe peach. Nicely balanced,, but with a bit sweetish, cloying finish.
