enjoyed what this had become with some age. still very fresh and alive, there was ample fruit and phenolics were there but under control. very lively bottle.

Bright and well made Sauvignon - a mix of green and yellow fruits, showing good balance and ripeness. Best with food, this time tarragon chicken and rice. Seems fully ready.

aromas of green apple, citrus, mint and tarragon. citrus-like acidity gives this plenty of freshness and zip. nicely balanced with decent length showing fine minerality. great sauvignon blanc for the price.

A really simple but quite lovely wine. Pale with hints of yellow and a quite earthy, minerally nose. Beautifully limpid with a flavour that doesn't really worry too much about fruit - though it is there, but concentrates more on the mineral component. Nothing flashy or intense but all the better for that - the absolute epitome of balance. One couldn't ask for a better wine to be drunk with fish - it was perfect with a fish pie. The most enjoyable SB I've had in ages.
