Weygandt Selections - Annual Portfolio Tasting (Astor Place - New York, NY): Another interesting one from Mosbacher. Thought this had some nice riesling fruit on the nose with a hint of hay...which is as strange as it sounds. This also had some underlying saline qualities with apricots. All over the place...but interesting.

A White Wine Tasting with the Meyers (Val's - Washington, D.C.): for the people who didn't like residual sugar or rich fruit, this was the wine of the night. smells like oyster shells, lemons and slate. this bottle had the most acid of the tasting. It almost feels spicy on the palate from the acid.

Weygandt Wines on a Saturday (Washington, D.C.): the nose has lots of fresh peaches, and even some white pepper. on the palate, this is a spicier style than i was expecting from a pfalz riesling, which i usually find a bit more plump. but i like this. lots of grapefruit peel, lemons, and flowers. medium+ acid. no minerality, but i like the liveliness of this wine.
