Leiden spontaneous midweek evening: Golden colour. Nose stone fruit, some caramel, secondary tones, quite complex. Taste very rich, balanced, mineral, balanced acidity, everything falls in its place, good length. A wine to enjoy.

Golden-yellow in colour. On the nose exotic fruit notes, ripe stone fruit, caramel, burnt sugar. On the palate quite fresh, clean, brilliantly balanced by the richness of fruit. Layered and complex. Mineral finish, very nice length. Excellent. A village wine only in terms of the label. Drinking nicely but no rush. 92-94

As always, Leroy is stunning, no matter what level we're talking about. This is pure with lovely intense prut and sparkling acidity. Very fine village.

Quite fat and almost oily. Nuts and fudge mixed with minerals and lime. On the down side I did not find it very fresh.
