  Upon opening, this was fruity (with strong dried cherry) and jammy. It was all front palette, falling off in the middle, though lingering faintly on the back. After an hour, the character completely changes and becomes Bordeaux-like: strong green-pepper and vegetal, though still all front palette. A good bottle, but either passing peak or tending toward a dumb phase.

  Opened at 10 am. Into a Decanter around five. Drank 8:00 to 11:00. It started out chewy. But around 9 it smoothed out. Still massive and DENSE but delicious. Flavor packed classic Napa profile. Long finish. Fricking delicious.
