Well, Parker went 91-94 on this apparently, and put the drinking window til 2020. What I took as an extreme case of horse saddle leather on the nose and palate, he better described as glycerin. However, I don't take that as a positive thing, rather, a weakness/flaw. Too much of a chemical angle. Nonetheless, good fruit, structure, and tannins, but no reason to wait on this wine either. And at $49 at the wine house, overpriced. Tough to rate, I'd go 88, wifey thinking 90+. Guess its whether you like the predominant glycerin angle.
