  Morgante Don Antonio back vintage vertical tasting. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
  Appearance very deep intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
  Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of oxidative caramel, sea smoke, thick black plums, prunes/raisins, dark chocolate. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, juicy high acidity, high alcohol, smooth resolved high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of thick black plums, black cherries, prunes/raisins, dark spice, dark chocolate, smoky earth background. Medium+ finish.
  Good quality. But best days over. Not for further ageing.

  Simplement typique, j'aime bien ce vin, année après année, il me donne le goût de voyager en Sicile. Cela fait longtemps que je boie ce vin, depuis son 2003, en arrivage du 1er CELLIER de la SAQ. Je me souviens bien de MORGANTE - Un goût et odorat prononcé de confiture de Prune, la prune et les figues confites ainsi qu'une parcelle de framboie pressé, donne un tannin exceptionnel et un goût p-e un peu trop prononcé mais bien élégant. Un 91 honorable pour une constance en qualité
