Tuesday Night Double Blind <$30 (Bin 75): Dark, chocolaty core, dull garnet rim with sediment; soy, brown sugar, dirt, dried dark berry, charcoal, anise, liqueur, stewed fruit; richer palate, Bordeaux varietal-esque, dark cherry, currant; not on this one; very aged and just holding on.

Saw the mediocre ratings for this beforehand, so made sure to decant this for an hour ahead of time. Paid off handsomely. Everyone really liked it, including some who are not serious red enthusiasts.

Ok bottle. Bit of funk upon opening that blew off over time. Dark fruit, a bit simple. Short on the finish
