Perfectly fine and a serviceable champagne but nothing very exciting here. I’ve not had a Rodez that really wowed me and I’m hoping for that to change.

Sep 2022 Disgorgement and surprisingly little disgorgement and assemblage data given. Solid as with all their wines, rounder and rich, welcoming and a bit of a wine for all occasions feel. Very pretty and albeit not among their best still won’t disappoint. 90

It was fascinating to track the evolution of this champagne over several days. On the initial pour, there was some bruised apple on the nose and ripe yellow fruit on the palate. Decent, but a little boring. However, after an hour of air, the wine transforms and leans out, and you get iodine, salt, chalk, a hint of citrus, and seashell on the palate. After several days, herbal notes come to the fore -- it just keeps getting better. Great QPR considering how much complexity you get with air. I wish I had a couple more bottles to age.

Opened and approached over several days. Good but not great. Loved the Rose’ bottling over this one.
