Rhubarb, red cherry, red beets, a touch of forest floor on the nose. This is pleasantly acidic, with sour cherry and red cherry flavors, a bit of complexity, and a fully resolved finish that is not lacking in acidic punch, but is by no means assertive. A mature, fruit-driven pinot that is very good by any standard, and exceptional for Michigan.

Fresh and easy drinking. Much better than I remember when I tasted at the winery. Check this out if you live in the area.
