  • Thirteenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): Late night, brief note. Ok, we were somewhat distracted by Ramonet 2009 Montrachet's absolute beauty, but this was also wonderful. Surprisingly fresh with a lean elegance, then a long, powerful finish.

  • From magnum.
It has everything of Montrachet. Pure, bright, clean, mineral, round and delicious with the hidden acidity in its finish. It's good to bring magnum to drink along with those red wines.

2006 La Grande Rue is very nice after 3 hours, clean, fresh and lovely. Petit RC !?
2002 La Tache is amazing great, perfume of the terroir, dramatic, seductive nose, fully open atm, delicious with the ultra long finish. 99/100
2002 Romanee-Conti is outstanding, mild-blowin' scent. I never feel happy with this wine as I can recall 2 times of 1990. Tonight it comes across everything, subtle, special scent of all beautiful fragrant intermixed. Splendid texture with the very long lasting aftertaste. 99/100
    A beauty !!
2006 Romanee-Saint-Vivant, my 2nd time since a new year eve and still showing a truly scent of terroir, almost no Leroy's flower, great structure, round, firm, delicious with a serious and powerful aftertaste. 98/100
2008 La Romanee, very bright ruby color, the nose is only 60% open but perfect in the mouth and aftertaste. The one and the only wine from tonight that brings tear covered my eyes on its finish. 98/100
    The Real Promising !!

2000 Montrachet is absolutely Classic !!
