The color was a bit concerning especially since it was the darkest of the 5 wines tonight. There was a hint of bruised apple and honey along with ripe fruit. However a residual steak or acidity was still present. Drinkable and a nice surprise, however just a bit past peak.

In mag. Caramel, cake and ripe yellow fruit. Rich and fat. More batard than montrachet with good intensity. Enjoyable.
